REALTOR of the Year
Cheryl Dambacher, ABR, CRS, GRI
Cheryl Dambacher was selected by her peers as the 2007 REALTOR® of the Year. This cherished award is presented annually to a REALTOR® who is faithful to the principles of organized real estate, laws and regulations of the Association; sets an example of sound real estate practices; and promotes cooperation among fellow REALTORS®, and has an outstanding interest in civic and community affairs. Dambacher is a broker-associate with Charles Robbins, REALTOR and has been a member of CAAR since 1988. Dambacher served as the association's President in 2006. |

Rising Star Award
Kyle Killebrew
This year a new award category was added called the Rising Star Award. This award was created for the purpose of honoring a newly active REALTOR® (less than four years as a member) who demonstrates unusual enthusiasm in the association and its programs by attendance and participation. Sales production is not an overriding factor but is also a consideration. The very first Rising Star Award was presented to Kyle Killebrew who is a partner with the Real Estate Group. |

Two Receive Community Service Award
The REALTOR® Community Service award is given to honor individuals who have made outstanding service contributions to the community. This year this award was bestowed on two such individuals.

Steve Dove, ABR, CRS, GRI
The Community Service award was presented to Steve Dove. Mr. Dove has been a member of CAAR since 1997, holds the ABR, CRS and GRI designations and is currently a broker-associate with RE/MAX Professionals.

Cindy Hamilton
The Community Service award was presented to Cindy Hamilton. Ms. Hamilton has been a member of CAAR since 1992 when she joined Grady, REALTORS. Ms. Hamilton currently serves on the Board of Directors. |

Two Named to Hall of Fame
The REALTORŪ Hall of Fame award is given to honor individuals who have held membership in the association for at least 20 years, have a record of outstanding service to the association, have made significant contributions to the community and are of high moral and social integrity. This year this award was bestowed on two such individuals. |

Susan Madison, ABR, CRS, GRI
The Hall of Fame award was presented to Susan Madison. Ms. Madison has been a member of CAAR since 1985 and holds the ABR, CRS and GRI designations. Ms. Madison currently serves as the Chairman of the Multiple Information Service and on the Board of Directors. Ms. Madison was the recipient of the REALTOR Associate of the Year award in 1994 and the Community Service Award in 2005. |

Ed Mahoney, ABR
The Hall of Fame award was presented to Ed Mahoney. Mr. Mahoney has been a member of CAAR since 1986, holds the ABR designatino and is currently a broker-associate with RE/MAX Professionals. Mr. Mahoney currently serves as the Chairman of the REALTOR Developer Committee. |

Two Recognized as REALTOR Emeritus
Two individuals have been recognized by the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) and the Capital Area Association of REALTORS (CAAR) as having achieved the 40-year REALTOR Emeritus membership status. They are: Barbra Steward (RE/MAX Professionals); and, John B. Clark (The Real Estate Group). |
