REALTOR of the Year
Richard Hanselman, CRS, GRI
Richard Hanselman was selected by his peers as the 2005 REALTOR® of the Year. This cherished award is presented annually to a REALTOR® who is faithful to the principles of organized real estate, laws and regulations of the Association; sets an example of sound real estate practices; and promotes cooperation among fellow REALTORS®, and has an outstanding interest in civic and community affairs. Hanselman is a broker-owner with The Real Estate Group. Hanselman served as the association's President in 2004. Hanselman has been a member of CAAR since 1985. |

Community Service
Susan Madison, ABR, CRS, GRI
The REALTOR® Community Service award is given to honor individuals who have made outstanding community service contributions to the community. This award was presented to Susan Madison. Madison is a sales associate with RE/MAX Professionals. Madison has served on numerous association committees, including the Board of Directors and has chaired numerous projects for the association. Madison received the REALTOR Associate award in 1994 and has been a member of CAAR since 1985. |

Two Named to Hall of Fame
The REALTORŪ Hall of Fame award is given to honor individuals who have held membership in the association for at least 20 years, have a record of outstanding service to the association, have made significant contributions to the community and are of high moral and social integrity. This year this award was bestowed on three such individuals. |

Randy Raynolds
The Hall of Fame award is presented to Randy Raynolds. Raynbolds is Deputy Vice President for the Illinois Association of REALTORS. Over the years, Raynolds has served on and chaired numerous association committees and as president of the local (1982) and state association (1988) of REALTORS. Raynolds is a 1986 recipient of the REALTOR® of the Year award. Raynolds has been a member of CAAR since 1982. |

Bonnie Wabner
The Hall of Fame award is presented to Bonnie Wabner. Wabner is a broker-owner with The Real Estate Group. Over the years, Wabner has served on and chaired numerous association committees including the association's Board of Directors. Wabner has been a member of CAAR since 1971. |

Two Recognized for REALTOR Emeritus
The association two different types of Emeritus status. There is the forty (40) year award which CAAR and the National Association of REALTORS recognize. Then there is the thirty (30) year +70 status which CAAR recognizes. The thirty (30) year + 70 status is conferred to those individuals who have been a member of CAAR for at least thirty (30) years and have attained the age of at least seventy (70). This year one individual was inducted into each category. |

William Gaule (William L. Gaule, REALTORS®) is recognized as a 70/30 REALTOR Emeritus. Gaule is broker-owner of William L. Gaule, REALTORS® and has been a member of the association since 1974. Mr. Gaule is a former president of the Illinois State Auctioneers Association as well as the National Auctioneers Association. Mr. Gaule has served as an auctioneer instructor for the NAA as well as Indiana State University. In 1991 Mr. Gaule was inducted into the Illinois and National Auctioneers Hall of Fame. |

Charles Robbins (Charles Robbins, REALTORS) is recognized as having attained the 40-year REALTOR® Emeritus. Robbins has been a member of the association since 1963. In 1989 Mr. Robbins received the association’s coveted Hall of Fame Award. |
